White bows adorn Elizabethtown to honor the life of Mr. William “Calvin” Sasser, a local businessman who passed away early morning on Tuesday, October4th, according to family members. Sasser was not only a businessman in Bladen County, but he was civic-minded, dedicated to his faith, loyal to his family, and a friend to many.
Sasser worked at his company, Kinlaw Furniture, on Board Street in Elizabethtown every day the doors were open until the very end. His kind heart and willingness to serve was obvious to many.
Sasser served his community through his memberships with the Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce and Elizabethtown Baptist Church just to name a few. For more information read his obituary.
