Dublin – The public is invited to hear the Disaster Assistance Team speak at a briefing at Bladen Community College on Mon., Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. in the Student Resource Center (building 7). Representatives from FEMA, including a FEMA Mitigation Specialist and the Small Business Administration will be present.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency provides disaster survivors with information, support, services, and a means to access and apply for disaster assistance through joint data-sharing efforts between federal, tribal, state, local, and private sector partners.
Areas in southeastern North Carolina have been declared as Hurricane Matthew disasters and are eligible for Disaster Assistance through FEMA.
Students, BCC employees, and anyone affected by Hurricane Matthew throughout the region are encouraged to attend this presentation.
