The Bladen County Animal Shelter will be the location for a rabies clinic on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. until noon.
According to Karen Suggs, the shots cost $6 per animal and both one-year and three-year shots will be available. Suggs said in order for your pet to receive the three-year rabies shot, you must supply proof of a current prior vaccination.
Rabies vaccinations are important for your pet’s health.
“It’s very important not only for the animal but for the person as well to prevent the spread of disease,” said Suggs.
