Fifty-nine players showed up to play in the August 16 SFSGA tourney held at Land O’ Lakes Golf Course near Whiteville. The winning team, with a score of 49, was Frank Gray, Jimmy Jones, Charles Hungerford and Dennie Pait.
The August 23 tournament will be held at Timberlake Golf Course in Clinton. Any senior interested in playing should call Linwood Hedgepeth at 910-734-7161.
