Men’s Soccer: West Bladen 4, Purnell Swett 1

PEMBROKE – West Bladen’s Knights claimed their fourth straight win Wednesday night with a 4-1 non-conference men’s soccer victory over Purnell Swett.

The Knights matched their win total from last season and are currently 4-0 on the season. West Bladen will travel to Whiteville Monday for a 6 p.m. game.

Sophomore Victor Lopez and junior Emerson Escobar scored 2 goals each for the Knights. “We have had some pretty good tune-up games,” said Coach Brennan Brown. “It will get tougher next week against Whiteville.”
