Carey Cox, a native of Clarkton, has been appointed Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. Cox, a 2000 graduate of Bladenboro High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, had previously worked for the major league baseball team, the Tampa Bay Rays. Ms. Cox had worked for the Rays since 2004 with her latest position being Director of Marketing and Creative Services. As Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy for the Buccaneers Ms. Cox will oversee the creative process and brand strategy planning.
